Tournaments & Team Events
Burgos Tennis captured the 2011 Stanford Showdown at Stanford University's Taube Tennis Stadium.
Burgos Tennis players train and compete year round. Tennis requires too many skills and tournament experience to be successful. Playing seasonally will not work for "serious" players. We have a list of suggested tournaments and team events for our players. Car pools and a team van are available for most of the events.

We are planning a Boy's 18s anda Boy's 15s to compete in the San Mateo League. The format is six singles and three doubles. Each team needs at least six players per match. This is a great way to get that much needed match play experience, but in a team setting. This year our home matches will be played at San Francisco State University. Cost is $75. to register plus one session credit per match played to cover our costs.
Team Sectionals will be in Fresno August 3-5.
